Jean Arnett has coached, directed and produced singers of all ages in a variety of genres for over 30 years. Her students have appeared on Glee, The X Factor, American Idol, America’s Got Talent, The Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and many National Commercials for clients that include Verizon, Wii, and The Voice. In addition, her students have had leading roles in local productions of The Wizard of Oz, Annie, Grease, A Chorus Line, Footloose, The Wiz, Compose Yourself, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Miracle on 34th Street, It’s a Wonderful Life, Oliver and a variety of club appearances which include The House of Blues, The Viper Room, The Mint, The Los Angeles Music Center, The Troubadour, and The Roxy. Jean also has students that have been finalists at the Orange County SoCal Icon Competition and won First Place at the Norco County Fair Talent Competition and the Valencia Icon Competition.
Jean has prepared students for auditions that have resulted in their acceptances to institutions that include The Berklee School of Music, the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts, the
Jean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a Vocal Music Major from Arizona State University and has earned graduate credits in vocal music from California State University Long Beach and California State University Los Angeles. Series are requested to be paid in full at the time of the first lesson in the series. Lessons must be taken within a 5 week period of any given series.
Individual lesson payment is due at the beginning of the lesson. Series payments are due at the beginning of the first lesson of the series. Payments may be made by cash or check, Paypal, MasterCard and Visa. Please make checks payable to Jean Arnett.

Phone calls will go directly to voicemail during all voice lessons. If you are running late please call and leave a message. Students will receive a phone call if they have not arrived (or left a message) after 15 minutes of their scheduled lesson time.
Students will be provided with a CD or flash drive recording of each lesson (flash drive supplied by student). Included will be exercises and vocalises to practice for the next lesson. Students are expected to practice daily. Practicing for short periods of time (20 minutes) several times a day is ideal. However, any rehearsal is better than none. Your vocal chords, rib and tongue muscles should be exercised properly every day to gain strength.
24 hour notification of cancellation is required. Lessons missed without notification will be charged.
Scheduled lessons that are missed without a phone call to me will be regarded as a charged lesson and will require pre-payment from the student for all future lessons.
Regular attendance is essential to your success. Vocal training requires consistent application and practice. Your tenacity will result in a faster, stronger result.
Visitors are welcome to observe a lesson at anytime with the student’s permission. Parents of younger students please feel free to visit or call regarding your son’s or daughter’s progress.
